GetCVAI ("we", "our", "us") is operated by Vahid Aghajani, a sole proprietor based in Solothurn, Switzerland. Full contact details are in our Impressum. By creating an account or purchasing a plan you agree to these Terms.
GetCVAI lets you store a master profile and generate CVs, cover letters and shareable web CVs tailored to a specific job posting, using third-party AI language models. You can supply a job posting either as a URL or by pasting its text.
AI-generated output is a draft. It can be inaccurate or incomplete, and it is your responsibility to review every document for factual correctness before you send it to an employer. We do not guarantee any interview, job offer, or other outcome.
You must give a valid email address and verify it before you can log in. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. One person, one account. You must be at least 16 years old.
You keep all rights to the CV data, profile information and job postings you upload. You grant us only the limited licence needed to operate the service — that is, to store your content and to send it to our AI providers in order to generate your documents. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your CV content to train AI models.
You must only upload information you are entitled to share, and you must not upload another person's data as if it were your own.
You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not yet generated a CV with the credits from that purchase. Once a CV has been generated, the AI processing has been paid for on our side and the purchase is non-refundable.
To request a refund, contact us at info@getcvai.com from the email address on your account. Approved refunds are returned via Stripe to the original payment method.
If the service is materially broken and we cannot fix it for you, we will refund you regardless of usage.
You may not: resell or redistribute the service; use it to generate deliberately false or fraudulent credentials; attempt to bypass credit limits, rate limits, or authentication; scrape or overload the service; or use it to process other people's personal data without a lawful basis.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms. If we terminate an account for a breach, unused credits are not refunded.
We aim to keep GetCVAI available, but it is provided "as is" without any uptime guarantee. We may pause document generation temporarily to protect the service (for example under unusual load); your credits are not consumed while generation is paused.
To the extent permitted by Swiss law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost job opportunities, lost earnings, or reputational harm arising from AI-generated content you chose to send to an employer.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence.
We use third-party language-model providers to generate your documents. Content you submit for generation is transmitted to these providers for the sole purpose of producing your output. See our Privacy Policy for details.
We may update these Terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify you by email at the address on your account. Continued use after the change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Solothurn, Switzerland, to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence are unaffected.
